Explorers of acoustic detection AI technology in the field of industrial applications in China.

On the morning of October 16, the 2019 Zhongguancun Forum's parallel forum on "Hard Technology Innovation and Youth Entrepreneurship" was held at the Zhongguancun Exhibition Center Conference Center.

The forum invited scientists, young entrepreneurs, business leaders, investors, and other innovation stakeholders to engage in in-depth discussions on key topics such as current entrepreneurial opportunities in the hard technology field, the investment logic of hard technology, and how to support youth entrepreneurship.

"For example, in the recently popular movie 'The Captain', the aircraft malfunction occurred during flight, and there are also cases during high-speed train operations, and at remote high-voltage towers... These situations cannot be monitored using traditional methods, and sound has received consistent praise and recognition for its passive monitoring capabilities in these scenarios," said Chang Weixi, COO of Disound Technology, using the hit movie 'The Captain' as a starting point to describe the close relationship between sound and our lives.

He stated that we can hear everything in nature, robots can achieve human-machine interaction through voice, and doctors can listen to diagnose. Acoustic technology has been applied to all aspects of life with the advent of the intelligent era. Ensonic Technology's business is to provide stethoscopes for large machinery, allowing maintenance personnel to become doctors and conduct safety inspections on equipment.

The solutions provided by Ensonic Technology are divided into three steps: first, remote recognition; second, screening; and third, accurately judging specific sound characteristics, analyzing what kind of faults they correspond to, and matching intelligent solutions.

Currently, Ensonictech has been implemented in multiple fields such as railways, power grids, aviation, and energy manufacturing, across dozens of scenarios, with some application cases overseas. For example, in the case of the European Star Shinkansen, Ensonictech can clearly see the status of each power grid through its own system. In addition, Ensonictech has also collaborated with smart transportation for whistle monitoring, with security companies for drone monitoring, and participated in the construction of safe campuses.

"Through the technology of sound, we have truly turned the so-called ubiquitous Internet of Things and smart grid into reality. The average detection accuracy rate is over 80%, and the misunderstanding rate is below 10%, receiving unanimous praise from customers," Ensonictech hopes to open up the sound ecosystem and empower sound technology in various scenarios.
